Financial assistance is need based. There are two forms of need based assistance. First, all parents of STCS (1st thru 8th grade) can qualify for tuition assistance from the Archdiocese. Parishioners (Pre K 4 thru 8th grade) can also apply for St. Theresa need based assistance.
Parents apply for all need based tuition assistance by filling out the PSAS (Private School Aid Service) form. There is a processing fee of $19 which must be mailed along with the PSAS form in order to complete the application process. Our school code is 4738.
If one intends to be eligible for the Archdiocesan need based tuition assistance, the deadline for submitting a complete PSAS form is March 31st. All submissions must be completed and postmarked by March 31st in order to be considered for the Archdiocesan tuition assistance. Late submission may be considered by the Archdiocese but only after the initial batch of applicants have been considered and funds distributed.
The forms are to be submitted to:

PSAS is a company contracted by the Archdiocese to assist us in determining financial need. After reviewing the applications, PSAS sends a report to the Archdiocese and the Archdiocese distributes their funds accordingly. In early May, the principals of the Archdiocese are given the results of the PSAS form and are notified of the assistance that each family will receive from the Archdiocese. At that time, the results of the PSAS form are used by St. Theresa Catholic School to assess the financial need of each family. STCS then allocates its own need based tuition assistance accordingly. Parents are notified of both the Archdiocesan and St. Theresa Catholic School need based tuition assistance by the Principal of St Theresa Catholic School in mid May.
